Monika Krause
Monika Krause ist Professorin an der London School of Economics und Ko-Direktorin des LSE Human Rights. 2019 erhielt sie den Lewis A. Coser Award für Theoretical Agenda Setting in der Soziologie.
Die englische Fassung ihres Buches »The Good Project« wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet u.a. mit dem British Sociological Association's Philip Abrams Memorial Prize und dem Hodgkinson Book Award of the Association for research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action in 2015.
Sie machte ihren MA in Politischer Soziologie an der London School of Economics und promovierte anschließend an der New York University im Fachbereich Soziologie.
Monika Krause war Poiesis Fellow am Institute for Public Knowledge an der New York University und Mitglied des Junior Fellows’ network at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (ZIF) an der Universität Bielefeld. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Kultursoziologie, politische Soziologie, Organisationssoziologie, soziologische Theorie; Menschenrechte und Humanitarismus; globale Interventionen.
