Alan Kramer

Alan Kramer, Prof. Dr. phil., Professor für europäische Geschichte am Trinity College der Universität Dublin.

Er studierte Geschichte in Newcastle upon Tyne und an der Universität Hamburg. Erforscht zur Transnationalen Geschichte der Gewalt, zum Ersten Weltkrieg und zur Globalgeschichte der Konzentrationslager. Alan Kramer erhielt 2015/16 den Forschungspreis der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung und ist seit 2012 Mitherausgeber von »1914-1918 Online: International Encyclopedia of the First World War«.
